Why I do this work
Coaching is an invitation - to explore, experiment and evolve
I came to coaching during a natural transition in my career. After 25+ years leading marketing teams and transformational change—and with my children launched—I felt drawn to the work I’d always loved most: mentoring, coaching, and helping others grow. What began as a quiet realization became a clear calling—to focus on what energizes me and makes a lasting difference.
EstherCoaches grew from that clarity—and from conversations with people who saw this path in me before I did. Today, as a Certified Integral Coach (New Ventures West) and Enneagram Practitioner (iEQ9), I help others reconnect with what makes them feel most alive: their voice, their wisdom, their creative spark.
We all have innate strengths—often buried or overlooked—that make us compassionate friends, inventive problem solvers, and effective leaders. Coaching helps surface those qualities and strengthens your trust in your own insight and direction.
I’ve seen how powerful it is when people slow down, ask better questions, and choose a path that aligns with what they truly want. If you're navigating change or standing at a threshold, I bring steady partnership and perspective to help you explore what’s possible—and move forward with intention.
Beyond Coaching
When I’m not coaching, I’m enjoying life in Alameda, California, where I’ve put down roots and found a true sense of community. I’ve been married for 30 years (to the same wonderful person), raised two incredible sons, and learned that work-life balance isn’t about doing it all—it’s about knowing when to say yes, and when to say maybe next time.
I love hosting dinners, discovering new places, practicing yoga and Pilates, and carving out space to simply be. These moments remind me that meaningful work matters—but it’s just one part of a well-lived life.
